What education is necessary for our country, society, world, and for us?
Information for thought. Some History.
1. At the 7 century before A.D. hierophants decided that:
- quality of life depends from the quality of mental processes;
- the quality of mental processes depends from the rapidity of the mental actions.
The methods were created to hold down the rapidity of the mental processes. Only by that condition the society is controllable. These methods we used nowadays at schools and in the universities. Just because of the way of repetition
(or cramming), we were learned to keep the information. That is the reason, and the result is that the lasting memory didn’t work at the majority of people. The system of rating (marking) leaded to the developing of destructive mentation. The left hemisphere is dominated strictly. The right hemisphere that is responsible for the eye – demonstrative memory, creative abilities, irregularity of mentation, and the sense of information, didn’t work. Keeping the information fragmentally, the man doesn’t recognize the developing of the author’s thoughts. The person is blanking out in explaining, additional and illustrating information, but is not able to structure it.
2. At the Middle Ages at the Japanese schools the education of the samurais continued during many years. Samurais got into it yet small boys. According to the martial art it was the active psyhotraining, the exercises were done systematically. They were directed to develop rapidity of the mental processes, fastness of the reactions, memory, operation’s of the mind and concentration. These methods were thoroughly kept by the Japanese because the schools (by the feudal’s homes and by the Buddhistic’s abbeys) were competed with each other hardly. The crash education was not supposed. The samurais did these exercises during several months and as a result – the highest achievements. The systems became a very ramous and the teaching was only in single fight.

The situation is: if someone has money, he will take high – quality education.
“We have two ways of education. The first is informative: the mind is full with facts and the memory is evaluated. Memory is the physiological function of the mind, and it is different. When we evaluated person’s memory, that is his physiological evaluation. Is it reasonable to evaluate the functions, that are developing in the process of this education not in full efforts? As a result - the children are suffer from inadequate marks, and the whole process of education – too. The old educational system is getting behind the modern requirements because the information techniques are coming faster, but our ability to work with the information is still at the same level.
The second way is called transformative. It is important to know that a person assimilates information quite. Does he have an ability to use it after a day, a week, a year or ten years later? It is important what were real changes that had place in his life, his character, his mind because of given information”.
We live in the century of knowledge and information. And the main source of value of any organization are people that are able to adopt, to handle and to use these knowledge on the practice. Knowledge that have not yet competitors.
If you will look at today’s system of education, you will see that the problem is concluded that nobody can’t understand that inability to work with modern source of information takes in the stressed situation and teachers, and pupils, and parents, and managers.
The school education appeals for teaching us to read, to write, to count. It doesn’t make its function. 95% of graduators can’t read. According to the Approximate rapidity characteristics of educational-cognitive processes, children should read 180-220 aloud, and 310-330 words inwardly in a minute. These points were published at 1987. This temp of speaking was given for the lesson and home tasks. 20 years later. The volume of the material was rapidly growing by the whole subjects. Today the temp of the reading silently must be at least 700 –800 words in a minute. The progress doesn’t depend on the ordinary person, but the progress of the society depends of what and how we are reading. To my opinion, it is very dangerous to learn from those whose knowledge and skills became obsolete.
The results of education show up the evidence yearly that the millions of the graduates don’t form general skills; the great majority of the graduates are able to read on the level of 5 – 7 form, the elementary knowledge of the environment are absent.
We should change our future and the future of our children to the better: to put in all middle schools and in the universities a subject which can develop the skill to work with the information, to develop the rate of the mental processes, the quality of thinking.
The methods “Wunderkind”, “Speed reading. Development of the Memory”, “Speed reading. Control of the Information” by Vasilieva L. L. don’t have analogs neither in Russia, nor abroad.
The unique characters of these methods are the following:
Each of the courses was created for the definite age group;
The clear system “lesson by lesson” was done to form the speed reading’s skill; the system to work on the language, on the rhythm of thought, on the structure of the text, on the rate of mental operations;

Great demand of the speed-reading’s courses will rise yearly. The volume of the information at all the spheres of the man’s knowledge will grow like a snowball, but the level of our skills to work with it will stay at the same level. Speed-reading must be one of the main subjects as at schools as in the universities. What is the purpose at the knowledge that a man can’t use in ordinary life? For what we should lose time and money, if the information “pass” at the dust basket from 40% to 80%? (It is difficult to find another name for the brains of unprepared person). First of all it is necessary to teach this wonderful creation of nature to group, to structure, and to systemize the information.
The majority of today’s methods of speed – reading is based on the development of organs of articulations (if we are speaking about the rhythm of reading aloud), shortening the inner articulation and the development of ambient vision (if we are speaking about the rhythm of reading silently).
Speed – reading is the only kind of mental activity that allows developing the whole bloc of mental processes. To master the speed – reading it is necessary to activate chemical, bio – chemical reactions of all cerebrum, to work the additional links between the neurons, to increase the rate of the mental processes, to change the quality of thinking.
Left hemisphere corresponds to the literal understanding, work with the numerals, structure the information, creation the algorithms, logic, motor system of the right half of the body.
Right hemisphere is counting an implication, replaying for the integrity of perception, demonstrative memory, spatial imagination, thinking outside the box, learning the information on the level of thought, creative abilities and the intuition.
Simultaneously inclusion of hemisphere permits in the full volume to perceive the information.
Development of the thought’s rhythm, thought’s inductor, the rate of mental processes permits at the regime of speed – reading “to see” the structure of the text, to keep a close watch on the author’s thoughts.
Learning the stylistics permits to express your own thoughts strictly and expressively.
Learning the linguistics permits to orient well at the means of language and use them to the point. Huge layer of language – are phraseological units, synonyms, antonyms, paronyms and homonyms. Understanding of the words and the meanings, and correlation of them, distinguishing of the basic object’s signs and other parameters of verbal intellect are still coming the center of the course of “Speed – reading”.
Work step by step about the development of sense memory, learning the ways of account information (deduction and induction), types of the text (narration, description, reasoning), compositions are able to develop the ability of orienting in the text, to understand, to remember an to use this information in the future. Meeting with the aspects of reading (scanning, developing the skill depending from the aims and tasks to choose that or those type, leads to the developing of flexible strategy of reading.
Knowing the ways of remembering doesn’t link with information, forming the skill using the way of drilling help to remember well and to develop memory.
Doing the psycho – physical exercises permits to develop demonstrative thinking, concentration, distribution, skipping and stability of consideration.
The course considers the exercises developing the arithmetic – practical thought and logics, spatial perception and logics, observation, visual memory, rate of the visual perception, aural memory, flexibility, thought’s variation, harmonize hemispheres’ work, ability to do two mental operations at time.
Only that will permit to understand, to write, to keep in our brain the information and gives the opportunity to use this information in the future.
1. The mankind’s history counts thousands of years. Quality of the keeping facts rises in the geometric progression. At the British encyclopedia the following facts are given:
1. From Schumer’s time till 1900, that is before 5700 years, the mankind saved certain volume of information;
2. From 1950 till 1970 the volume of information doubled;
3. From 1970 till 1980 it became for the first time;
4. At the end of last century that occurred every few years;
5. At the beginning of ÕÕI century – every 18 months;
6. 2010 – 2012 – every few weeks.
After the creation of printing – press in XV century the technology had made great progress and the skill to work with information was at the same level. The volume of scientific – technological information doubled each 18 months. It is impossible without speed – reading’s skill to master it. 90% of people don’t orient in the stream of information because they are reading, independently of education and occupied position, 150 – 220 words in a minute. The low rate of reading influenced not favorably on the pupils and students’ progress, keeping the specialist in the state of constant stress.”

2. In the process of education the development is not necessary, but the aim of development – is creation the harmonic person. The teacher becomes like a bad sculptor, if he instead of cutting the superfluous will add it and distort it. Pupil will copy his teacher; if he wasn’t learned to create. That’s why the image of a teacher is so important in the system of education. The final product of education – is creation of perfect and integral Person which has the completeness of all the dignities.
What’s the main direction of modern education? Is it corresponding to that aim?
The modern system of education doesn’t give the whole world perception and world attitude. Only the complex of academic knowledge and besides inconsistent that cannot be used in life. For example, in the high school still learned the theory of origin of life and a man by Darwin. Ch., though all the well-known points of this theory were refuted by the science long ago.
Moreover, the work for development of image thinking is absent virtually at school. The great charge of left hemisphere has place. But the child is building the model of world firstly based on the images that he is looking around. The logic thinking is formed more lately. No wonder, that the concentration of consideration is low, because it is fixed that the moment remembering has place when the emotions shows. No emotions – no images. It is impossible to show the consideration by what is not interested. That’s why we faced with child’s great activity the so-called hyperactivity. The pupil is graduated school or university, but he hasn’t image, how to life, to what aspire.

3. “The method of concentration of the consideration is based on the work of outward centers control the movement of eyes that are situated in the frontal lobes of cerebrum. When we fix a look at the point, these centers have the definite statistic work, that leads to the intensification of blood supply in the zones of regulation of an eyes’ voluntary movement.
Systematic exercises are intensified the work of neurons and increased the blood supply in the frontal lobe – the outward brain regulator of behavior that control our psycho – activity.
At the underside of frontal lobe the accumulation of neurons is situated, that can regulate different processes, linking with the man’s work of the internal organs.
As a result, the person acquires an opportunity to regulate vital functions of organism by development of frontal lobe cells, making sure the blood stream in it. Frontal lobes are corresponding for the level of person’s development, providing the creative activity.
All the ways influencing on the processes of functional organization of neurons in the frontal cortex, showed the action on the volition processes, behavior acts, regulation of the internal organs, creation abilities of a person”.

4. “There are two ways of teaching. The first is informative. The child’s brain is just full of facts and value his memory: “How many facts did he mentioned?” But the memory is a physiological function of brain, so as an ability to see and to listen. Moreover, the memory is different. When we value it we can value person’s body. Is it reasonable to value the functions that are not developed? We can develop them partially, but not principally. As a result everybody suffered from that. The children are suffered from inadequate mark, and the whole process of learning too.
The second way of education is called transformative. In any case it is important not only to remember the volume of information, we can find it in any guide, but it is important to see what a real changes a person achieve in his life, his character, his mind.
The transformation of a person must be: a person must become better, happier; his character must change to the better side. And this is the pledge that he could be a leader”.
